Hillsdale College puts out Imprimis which contains speeches delivered by various persons at the college. Some of the topics are very interesting and I list some here.
- Jeffrey A. Tucker in Oct 2022 wrote about 'The Economic Disaster of the Pandemic Response'. He is founder and president of the Brownstone Institute and a daily columnist on economics for The Epoch Times. He has written 20 books.
- Christopher Caldwell wrote of the 'Complications of the Ukraine War'. Interesting history. He is a senior fellow at the Claremont Institute.
- Harmeet Dhillon gave a presentation in the Fall of 2022 about the politicization of the department of justice. The DOJ is using its powers to carry out actions which are very politicly motivated is the topic of the talk.
- Larry Arnn, 12th president of Hillsdale College, wrote Education as a Battleground for the Nov 2022, V 51, N 11 Imprimis. Fascinating read about, including other things, how the bureaucracy of the education system is growing so fast compared to the number of students
and teachers.
- John Daniel Davidson, senior editor at The Federalist, wrote The Twitter Files Reveal and Existential Threat for the Jan 2023, V 52, N 1 Imprimis. Great read about the use of Twitter and other social media platforms by the US government.
- John Abramson gave a talk on March 5, 2023 about our broken health care system. Very interesting: "America's Broken Health Care: Diagnosis and Prescription". He is on the faculty at Harvard Medical School.
- Bjorn Lomborg, president of the Copenhagen Consensus Center, wrote Thinking Smartly About Climate Change for the April/May 2023, V 52, N 4/5 Imprimis. Interesting read about doing climate planning write. Particularly interesting is the pointing out how some policies being put in place and discussed don't really make any sense at all.
- Ryan Cleckner, attorney, author and firearms industry executive. Writes about abuses carried out by ATF and FBI. Very eye opening and behavior of these organizations can be terrible.
- Heather Mac Donald, in February 2024, Fellow at the Manhattan Institute, wrote about 'Disparate Impact Thinking Is Destroying Our Civilization'. Real eye opener about racist progressive policies. She has also authored some interesting looking books.
During 2022 election period received an interesting newsletter from the Policy Issues Institute, it was a California Tax Reduction Committee newsletter; do not find much information about these folks.
